I hope you will be kind enough to inform us how to distribute this estate:
A man died leaving: a wife, a full brother, a full sister, and two maternal sisters. May Allah reward you with good, and peace be upon you and Allah’s mercy and blessings.
Answer: And upon you be peace, and Allah’s mercy and blessings, and after that:
The estate is divided into twelve equal shares. The wife receives one-quarter, which is three shares. The two maternal sisters receive one-third, which is four shares to be divided between them. The remaining five shares go to the full brother and the full sister to be divided between them (the male receives the share of two females). May Allah grant success to all.
And peace be upon you, and Allah’s mercy and blessings.
