How is a woman’s inheritance divided if she leaves behind a husband, a mother, a full sister, and four paternal sisters?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A woman died, leaving behind a husband, a mother, a full sister, and four paternal sisters. What is the inheritance share of each of them?

The Shaykh : The case is that a woman died, leaving behind a husband, a mother, a full sister, and four paternal sisters. We say: the case is based on six. The husband gets half, which is three; the mother gets one-sixth, which is one; the full sister gets half, which is three; and the paternal sisters get one-sixth to complete the two-thirds, which is one. The case increases to eight: three for the husband, one for the mother, three for the full sister, and one for the paternal sisters. Accordingly, the estate is divided according to the number to which the case increased, into eight shares, and distributed as you have heard.
