Committing sodomy and seeking the implementation of the prescribed punishment

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. And may prayers and peace be upon the noblest of messengers, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). As for what follows:
I do not write only to the Mufti of Saudi Arabia, but to all sincere Muslims and sinners. I am one of the sinners, and I have committed the greatest sin that defiles honor and shames the face. I have tasted both states in this world, so I do not want the circles of retribution to turn against me in the Hereafter.
Our esteemed Shaykh: I have committed the major sin of sodomy, and since that day my heart has been burning with fire. The word of repentance does not leave me, for the word of repentance carries great weight, and in my view, nothing will save me except the implementation of the prescribed punishment and being struck with the sword; so that that defiled, tormented soul may find rest; in realization of and following the example of the female Companion upon whom the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) implemented the prescribed punishment.
I do not want to enter into matters of sophistry that have no meaning, but I turn to the merciful heart, the father of Muslims on earth now, to allow me to enter Saudi Arabia, even if in chains, and to implement the prescribed punishment upon me.
I sent a message to one of the Shaykhs, and he said to me: Repent to Allah, and do not despair of the mercy of Allah. I am not despairing of the mercy of Allah to the extent that I am negligent in standing before Allah in this specific sin.
I performed the lesser pilgrimage (Umrah) a year ago, and I met the Mufti of the Haram, and he said to me: Whoever repents, Allah turns to him in repentance. I am a repentant person, but impurities churn within me, and I fear that I will meet Allah with them.
I beg you, my Shaykh: I want to offer my soul to Allah; perhaps He will look at me on the Day of Resurrection with satisfaction, and my trust in Allah is great.
Also, my family are among the righteous people, and I have disgraced them, even if this matter is insignificant compared to the forgiveness and satisfaction of Allah.
I hope you will not turn me away; for I am between two fires, and I am a trust in your hands, having conveyed my matter to you. And may peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.

Answer:
And upon you be peace, and Allah’s mercy and blessings, after that:
Repentance to Allah the Exalted and Sublime and guarding against returning to your evil deed is sufficient for you; due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):
Repentance wipes out what came before itالتوبة تجب ما قبلها
, and his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
The one who repents from sin is like one who did not sin.التائب من الذنب كمن لا ذنب له
Sunan Ibn Majah 4250Da’if (Darussalam)
, and Allah the Exalted said:
And it is He who accepts repentance from his servants and pardons misdeeds, and He knows what you do.وَهُوَ الَّذِي يَقْبَلُ التَّوْبَةَ عَنْ عِبَادِهِ وَيَعْفُو عَنِ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَفْعَلُونَ
[Surah al-Shura: 25].
So fear Allah, be sincere in your repentance, and guard against sitting with the wicked, and be glad of the good outcome and safety from the evil of what you did.
May Allah guide us and you to sincere repentance and well-being from all evil; indeed, He is Generous and Bountiful.
And peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
