Exception in Supplication

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the ruling on saying, “We will meet in Paradise, if Allah wills”? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
This phrase is good and there is nothing wrong with it. We ask Allah to gather us with our brothers in Paradise, and that we meet in Paradise. However, one should not say “if Allah wills”; one should not make an exception. Rather, one should say, “We ask Allah to let us meet in Paradise by His grace,” or “May Allah gather us in Paradise.” One should not say “if Allah wills” and should not make an exception in supplication.
