What is the authenticity of the hadith: “Indeed, Allah has forbidden the earth to consume the bodies of the prophets”?

Question:
I heard the announcer, and he was speaking about the virtue of Friday, and that was on Friday, the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal. He cited a hadith that says:
so invoke many blessings on me on that day, for your blessing will be submitted to meفأكثروا عليّ من الصلاة فيه فإن صلاتكم معروضة عليّ
Sunan Abi Dawud 1531Sahih (Al-Albani)
They said: “O Messenger of Allah, how is our prayer presented to you when you have passed away?” He said:
Indeed, Allah the Exaltedإن الله 
Allah has forbidden the earth to consume the bodies of the prophets. It was narrated by the five except al-Tirmidhi.
Does this not contradict the noble verse in which Allah says:
Say, "I am only a man like youقُلْ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ
[al-Kahf: 110], and His saying, Exalted is He:
And indeed, We will make that which is upon it [into] a barren ground.وَإِنَّا لَجَاعِلُونَ مَا عَلَيْهَا صَعِيدًا جُرُزًا
[al-Kahf: 8], and that when al-Abbas, his uncle, entered upon him when he died, and he remained for three days before being buried, and he was holding his hands over his nose, and he said to him:
Hurry up with burying your companion, and by Allah, he will rot just as the rest of humanity rots.عجلوا بدفن صاحبكم والله إنه ليأسن كما يأسن سائر البشر
, and this hadith that I heard is found in the book *Nayl al-Awtar Sharh Muntakha al-Akhabar*, and the hadith was also narrated by Ibn Hibban in his *Sahih* and al-Hakim in his *Mustadrak*, and he said: “Authentic according to the conditions of al-Bukhari, but they did not narrate it,” and Ibn Abi Hatim mentioned it in *Al-'Ilal*, and it was reported from his father that it is a denounced narration; because in its chain is Abd al-Rahman ibn Yazid ibn Jabir, and he is a denouncer of hadith, and Ibn al-Arabi said that the hadith is not established. And I ask Allah the Exalted to guide me and you to what He loves and is pleased with?

Answer: The mentioned hadith is known among the people of knowledge, and there is no harm with it among the people of knowledge, and there is no denunciation in that, for Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, has the right to distinguish whomever He wills of His servants with what He wills , so if He distinguishes the prophets by forbidding their bodies to the earth, there is no strangeness in that because of the honor they have with Him.
Sending blessings and peace upon him (peace and blessings be upon him) is prescribed absolutely, even if we assume that the earth has consumed the body, just as it consumes the bodies of other people. This does not prevent sending blessings and peace upon him, nor does it prevent dedicating the Friday prayer to an increase of that; for what came in the hadith is that sending blessings and peace upon him is prescribed permanently, upon him (peace and blessings be upon him), in his life and after his death (peace and blessings be upon him). For Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) said: :
Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace.
[Al-Ahzab 33:56]
. O Allah, send blessings and peace upon him, a blessing and peace that are permanent until the Day of Judgment.
And he said, peace and blessings be upon him, as Muslim narrated in the *Sahih*:
He who blesses me once, Allah would bless him ten times.من صلّى علي واحدة صلّى الله عليه بها عشرًا
Sahih Muslim 408
.
And by that it is known that sending prayers and peace is prescribed in his life and after his death, as for the fact that his body remains, that came in this hadith, and its chain is not problematic among the people of knowledge, as for the saying of al-Abbas, I do not know its authenticity to this day, and I have not traced its chains, and even if we assume the authenticity of al-Abbas's saying, it does not contradict what came in this hadith regarding the forbidding of the bodies of the prophets to the earth; because the body may undergo what it undergoes of change, and it remains, not consumed by the earth, for Allah is capable of all things , so if it is placed in the grave, it is possible that this smell disappears, assuming the authenticity of al-Abbas's report, and the body remains sound and fresh, and there is nothing in the Shari'ah or in reason that prevents that.
And the point is that sending prayers and peace upon him is prescribed absolutely, whether the body remains or the body does not remain, and the fact that the prayer of his Ummah is presented to him has no connection to the body, but rather that is upon the soul, and it is in the highest company, for his soul is remaining, and thus the souls are remaining according to the people of the Sunnah and the community, the souls of the believers are in Paradise, and the souls of the disbelievers are in the Fire, his soul, peace and blessings be upon him, is in the highest of the highest, peace and blessings be upon him, and the souls of the believers are in the form of birds that hang in the trees of Paradise, and the souls of the martyrs are in the bellies of green birds that roam in Paradise wherever they will, then they return to lamps hanging under the Throne, as the authentic hadiths from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, confirm, and Allah is the guarantor of success.
