The Complete Among Men and Women

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: Some people are heard saying: "No one is complete except Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)." Is this statement correct?
A. A. - Abha

Answer: This statement is not correct. In fact, there are many complete men, but Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is the most complete and the best of them, as it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:
Many a man achieved perfection, but no woman achieved perfection except for Mariam the daughter of 'Imran, and Asiyah the wife of Fir'awn. And the superiority of 'Aishah over other women is like the superiority of Tharid over other foods.
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1834Sahih (Darussalam)
It is also established from him (peace and blessings be upon him) what indicates that Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her), the daughter of Khuwaylid, the mother of his children (peace and blessings be upon him), was among the complete women, and likewise Fatimah, his daughter (peace and blessings be upon him); it is established from him (peace and blessings be upon him) that she is the lady of the women of Paradise. These five are the complete women, may Allah be pleased with them all.
As for the complete men, they are many, meaning in the human qualities that Allah praised and commended their possessors of, such as knowledge, generosity, uprightness in the religion of Allah, courage in truth, and other great qualities that Allah the Exalted praised and commended their possessors of, or His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) did. However, the most complete people in that are the Messengers (peace be upon them all); and the most complete and best of them is their seal and their leader, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), due to his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
I am the master of the children of Adam on the Day of Judgement, and I am not boasting.
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 3615Hasan (Darussalam)
and the other evidence from the Book and the Sunnah indicates this.
As for absolute perfection in all attributes, it belongs to Allah alone; He has no partner or equal in that, as Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) said:
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ۝
[Al-Ikhlas 112:1]
[Surat al-Ikhlas: 1 - 4], and His (Glorified and Exalted is He) saying:
There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing.
[Surat al-Shura: 11], and His (Glorified and Exalted is He) saying:
So do not assert similarities to Allah. Indeed, Allah knows and you do not know.
[Surat al-Nahl: 74], and His (Glorified and Exalted is He) saying in Surat al-Rum:
And it is He who begins creation; then He repeats it, and that is [even] easier for Him. To Him belongs the highest attribute in the heavens and earth. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
[Surat al-Rum: 27].
The Supreme Example is the highest description in which none of His creation shares with Him, in knowledge, power, life, hearing, sight, and other qualities of perfection. Exalted and Pure is He, and He is free from resembling His creation. There is no god but He, the Mighty, the Wise.
