The woman, the black dog, and the donkey interrupt the prayer
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: We have heard from you that if a dog, a donkey, or a woman passes in front of the one praying, the prayer is invalidated. What is the distance within which these things pass? And if this woman is a mahram (a relative one may not marry), does the prayer still become invalid? Please inform us; may Allah reward you.
A: It is established from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:Bulugh al-Maram 2:98 And in another hadith it is stated: And the intended meaning is: the person of legal age.
So if one of these three passes in front of him behind the sutrah (a barrier placed before one praying), it does not interrupt his prayer; but if he passes between him and the sutrah, it interrupts his prayer. If he has no sutrah and one of the three passes in front of him close to him, within the limit of three cubits from his foot, it interrupts the prayer. But if the passer from these three is far away, more than three cubits, it does not interrupt the prayer; because it is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):, and because one who passes in front of the one praying at a distance greater than the mentioned distance is not considered to be passing in front of him.
As for other than the three, such as a man, a dog that is not black, and other animals, they do not interrupt the prayer. However, the one praying should strive to prevent anyone from passing in front of him, absolutely, even other than the three. But only these three—the woman, the donkey, and the black dog—interrupt the prayer and invalidate it, except in the Sacred Mosque (al-Masjid al-Haram); for there, one who passes in front of the one praying does not interrupt the prayer absolutely, due to the evidence that has come regarding this and the difficulty of guarding against it. And success is from Allah.

In case there is not before him (an object) like the back of a saddle, a Muslim's Salat (prayer) would be cut off by (the passing of) a woman, a donkey and a black dog
