Ruling on the prayer of one from whom a dog other than a black one passes in front

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner, Abu 'Abid, asks in this question: If a person prays in the open field or the desert, and a dog passes in front of him, but it is not black in color, rather it is any other color, does the prayer become invalid in this case, or not?

Answer:
It does not become invalid except with a black dog; because of his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
It cuts off the prayer of the Muslim man: the woman, the donkey, and the black dogيقطع صلاة المرء المسلم: المرأة، والحمار، والكلب الأسود
It was said: O Messenger of Allah! What is the matter with the black one compared to the others? He said:
Because it is a Shaytanلأنه شيطان
However, one should not let anything pass; he should prevent it from passing if it is easy for him, preventing the dog, the donkey, and others; so that nothing passes in front of him if it is easy for him. He should move forward until they pass behind him, so that they do not cut off his prayer. He should not let anything pass other than the three, such as a man, or a dog other than a black one. He should not let anything pass; if it is easy for him, he prevents the passage; because it disturbs his prayer; because of his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
If one of you prays towards an object separating him from the people and someone tries to pass (between him and the object) in front of him, let him turn him away but if he refuses he should fight him for he is a devil.إذا صلى أحدكم إلى شيء يستره من الناس، وأراد أحد أن يجتاز بين يديه فليدفعه، فإن أبى فليقاتله فإنما هو شيطان
Bulugh al-Maram 2:101
.
The point is: that when a person prays facing something, it is prescribed for him not to let anyone pass in front of him at all. But if one of the three passes in front of him: a black dog, or a donkey, or an adult woman, it cuts off his prayer, unless he is far away, or behind a sutrah. If he is behind a sutrah, or far away, more than three cubits, then it does not cut it off.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
