The ruling on swearing an oath by saying "by my life" and "by my age"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
What is the difference between saying "by my life" and "by my age"?

Answer:
"By my age" is permissible; there is no waw in it. "By my life" is like saying "I swear by such and such." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used it, and others used it as well, so there is no harm in it. However, if the waw, the ba, the ta, or the hamzah is used, it is prohibited.
Q: Is "by your age" an oath?
A: Yes,
By your life, [O Muhammad], indeed they were, in their intoxication, wandering blindly.لَعَمْرُكَ إِنَّهُمْ لَفِي سَكْرَتِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ
[al-Hijr:72].
Q: What are the letters of the oath?
A: There are four: the waw, the ba, the ta, and the hamzah.
