Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Do the narrations regarding the Fajr prayer not agree that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) would enter the prayer in the darkness of dawn, and would lengthen the recitation until it became light?
Answer:
This was the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); he would pray in the darkness and lengthen the prayer, peace and blessings be upon him. For this reason, Abu Burdah said, “They would slip away when a man would recognize his companion.”
