Is the Divine Descent every night in the first third or the last third?

Some narrations state that Allah descends in the last third of the night, while others state the first third of the night.
Some scholars answered that it is due to the difference in directions; in some directions, the first third is the last third due to the difference in sunrise times, such as America versus non-America, Europe versus non-Europe, and the far west. Thus, the times differ. Some others say that it is a mistake by some of the narrators, and the correct view is the last third. Sheikh Taqi al-Din has authored a book on this matter.
