Mentioning the best commentary on Riyadh al-Salihin

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Finally, who is the best commentator on Riyadh al-Salihin?

Answer:
As for the commentaries on Riyadh al-Salihin, I have not examined them. Dalil al-Falahin is well known; I have looked into some of it, but it is not a sufficient commentary.

The presenter : To whom, if you would be so kind, is Dalil al-Falahin?
The Shaykh: This is a commentary on Riyadh al-Salihin. I have forgotten the name of its author now; it has slipped from my mind. The point is that it is not one of the comprehensive commentaries. It is beneficial and useful, but it is not among the comprehensive commentaries in the places I have looked into. I have not read much of it; I only reviewed some of the places in it. Some scholars may review it and not find what is required in terms of attention to the chains of hadith, and clarifying their authenticity or weakness, and noting the corrections of this author or the lack thereof.
So, Riyadh al-Salihin is a beneficial and great book. Al-Hafiz al-Nawawi (may Allah have mercy on him) took care of it and exerted effort in it. Nevertheless, there are some weak hadiths in it that scholars know about. However, it is a book that is predominantly authentic and of great benefit. It is a book, by the praise of Allah, through which Allah has benefited many people, and scholars in all regions have used it. It is a beneficial and great book, and the weak hadiths in it are few. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
