The ruling on one who testifies to something he did not see

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
After this, a message was received for the program from the Syrian Arab Republic, sent by one of the female listeners. She says: I am an illiterate woman who does not know how to read or write. Two men from my village came to me and said: "Testify to a matter you did not see." We went to the judge, and I testified to it, knowing that I was fifteen years old, not aware, and not understanding this matter. I swore on the Qur'an. Do I have a sin? If so, what is its expiation? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
Yes, you are disobedient in this action; you have made a great mistake, because a Muslim does not testify to what he does not know. Allah says:
but only those who testify to the truth [can benefit], and they know.إِلَّا مَنْ شَهِدَ بِالْحَقِّ وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ
[Surah al-Zukhruf: 86].
So you must repent to Allah, return to Him, feel remorse for what has passed, and not return to such a thing. You must also feel remorse for your oath. You were lying, and all of this is reprehensible... it is not permissible. You must repent to Allah and you must inform the one before whom you testified... If this testimony results in a matter that disrupts a ruling of the Shari'ah, you must inform the one before whom you testified. For example, if it was about breastfeeding, you must tell him; because your testimony is invalid in that case, if you testified to breastfeeding, or that so-and-so breastfed so-and-so; you must inform him.
The point is: you must inform the one before whom you testified that you testified by mistake, that you did not see it, and did not know it. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
