Testifying to Allah and His Messenger
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 19446 )
Q 2: In the book (Ma'arij al-Qabul), the author (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned in
one of the sections, after explaining the creed of the people of the Sunnah and the opponents, he said: "We testify to Allah and we testify to His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him)." Is there any harm in such a phrase?
A 2: This phrase is an error by the Shaykh (may Allah pardon him and have mercy on him), and it is not permissible for anyone to testify on behalf of the Messenger regarding any of his deeds after his death (peace and blessings be upon him); because he does not know the unseen and does not know what his Ummah did after him; for this reason, it is established from him (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said: the hadith. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

Some of my Companions will be driven away from my pool on the Day of Resurrection, so I will say: "My Companions!" It will be said: "You do not know what they innovated after you."
