What is the meaning of: {He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation}?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
He asks and says: Allah the Exalted says in His Noble Book, in Surat al-Zumar:
He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation, within three darknessesيَخْلُقُكُمْ فِي بُطُونِ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ خَلْقًا مِنْ بَعْدِ خَلْقٍ فِي ظُلُمَاتٍ ثَلاثٍ
[al-Zumar:6]. What is the meaning of this Noble verse? And what is intended by the darknesses? May Allah reward you with good?
Answer: The meaning, as the scholars of knowledge said, is that He, Exalted is He, develops them, creation after creation, in stages, as He, Exalted is He, said:
While He has created you in stages?وَقَدْ خَلَقَكُمْ أَطْوَارًا
[Nuh:14]. So they are transferred from one stage to another, from the stage of the drop in the first forty days to the stage of the clot in the second forty days, to the stage of the lump in the third forty days, to a moving creature in its mother's womb that grows, and then after that she gives birth to a complete human being, and then it grows, and so on.
So the result is that they are stages in the womb, from a drop to a clot to a lump, and then after the lump, the formation of hearing, sight, hands, and feet, and so on, until its creation is completed, and then she gives birth to it by the permission of Allah.
And the three darknesses, the scholars of knowledge explained them: the darkness of the belly, this is one.
And the darkness of the womb in which the fetus is, that is the second, and the darkness of the placenta, which is a covering in which the child is, called the placenta. These are three darknesses: he is in a sac, then in the womb, then in the belly; three things, darkness after darkness. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
