The Prayer of Tasbih is an innovation with no basis

Question:
The following message was received by the program from Makkah al-Mukarramah, and its sender is the brother Hashim Mu'tuq al-Faqih. The brother Hashim says in his message: I hope you will clarify for me the ruling on the Prayer of Tasbih. Is it valid, or is it otherwise, as stated in the book *The Wills of the Prophet* (peace and blessings be upon him)? If it is valid, I hope you will clarify the number of rak'ahs and the number of prostrations. May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
We have considered the Prayer of Tasbih extensively, and we also considered it with the Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta. We all agreed that it is not valid. The Prayer of Tasbih is not valid, all its chains of narration are weak, its text is denounced, it contradicts the authentic hadiths, and it contradicts what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was upon in his acts of worship.
Therefore, it is obligatory not to cling to it and not to perform it, because it is among the innovations introduced into the religion. A fatwa has been issued clarifying this from me and from the Permanent Committee, in *Research in Knowledge and Ifta* in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The point is that the Prayer of Tasbih that has spread among the people has no basis of validity. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
