Ruling on marrying the daughter of a woman who was breastfed by one's mother along with one's eldest brother

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
We will return to our brother's letter in a future episode, if Allah wills, to complete the remaining questions from it. Now we move to a letter received by the program from Iraq, sent by one of the brothers there. He says: I am 'Abd al-Karim Hasan Mahdi from Iraq. I have four brothers and four sisters, and I am the ninth and the youngest among them. My cousin's daughter was breastfed by my mother along with my eldest brother. She married another man and gave birth to a daughter. Do I have the right to marry this daughter or not? Please note that people say: if the breastfeeding occurred to both of them together, then they are the two who are not permitted to marry each other. Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good?
Answer: If she was breastfed by your mother along with your brother five times or more within the two-year period, whether in one sitting or in one day, then she becomes your sister, even if it was with your eldest brother; she becomes your sister, and the sister of all of you. It is not permissible for you to marry her daughter, because you are her maternal uncle. You are the maternal uncle of all her children, and if they descend further, you are the maternal uncle of her children's children. If this woman was breastfed by your mother five times or more within the two-year period, then she becomes a sister to you, to all the children of your mother, and to all the children of your father, the one who provided the milk. She becomes a sister to all of you if she was breastfed five times or more within the two-year period, while she was an infant within that period. It is not permissible for you to marry any of her daughters, because you are their maternal uncle, the maternal uncle of all her children, male and female alike. This is because she has become your sister through breastfeeding, and her children have become the children of your sister, and you are their maternal uncle. Therefore, it is not permissible for you to marry any of her daughters, nor any of her granddaughters, nor the daughters of her children, however far down the line they may be, for you are the maternal uncle of all of them, however far down the line they may be. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
