Ruling on marrying the cousin’s daughter whose sister was breastfed by her paternal grandmother

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
A message was received for the program from a listener (Z. A. Q.) of Yemeni nationality. He says in his message: I hope you will be kind enough to answer me on this issue. My mother breastfed my elder brother’s daughter along with my younger sister, for more than five feedings. I know that she is considered one of my sisters. As for her sisters who came after her, is it permissible for me to marry my children to them? They are the daughters of my elder brother. Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good?
Answer: Yes, the one who was not breastfed, there is nothing wrong with marrying her. The one your mother breastfed becomes your sister. As for your brother’s daughters whom your mother did not breastfeed, there is nothing wrong for your sons to marry them; because they are cousins. However, the one among them whom your mother breastfed becomes your sister and the aunt of your children. Yes.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
