Types of ongoing charity

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is planting fruit trees considered ongoing charity, and does this charity end when the trees die? I also ask the Shaykh to guide us with examples of ongoing charity. May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
If useful trees are planted as an endowment for the causes of good—such as planting pomegranates or grapes to give away as charity—they become part of the endowment. If one plants palm trees intending them as an endowment for the causes of good and good deeds, there is nothing wrong with that; it becomes charity, and one gives away their fruit for the causes of good. If one intends good and good deeds, it is an endowment for Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) . Similarly, if one builds a house or buys a house to make it an endowment for Allah, or a farm or land that is cultivated and its produce given away for the causes of righteousness and good deeds, all of this falls under the category of the lawful endowment and the category of charity. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, Your Eminence the Shaykh.
