The ruling on a woman covering her hands in prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Our sister also asks and says: Is it obligatory for women to cover their hands in prayer?

Answer:
Covering them is better, and there is no blame in uncovering them. The face is uncovered in prayer if there are no non-mahram men present, meaning no man who is not a mahram, and the same applies to the palms. If she covers them, there is nothing wrong with it. The matter is broad regarding the palms, but the Sunnah is to uncover the face, unless there is a non-mahram present. As for the hands, meaning the palms, she has the choice: if she covers them, it is better, and if she uncovers them, there is no blame. Yes. As for the feet, she must cover them. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
