Is the time for the Isha' prayer until midnight?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This listener, Sharif al-Sayyid Taha Ramadan, from the Arab Republic of Egypt, sent a message asking and saying: Is the Isha' prayer after twelve o'clock at night permissible for women, and is it disliked at eleven thirty, for example? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
The time for the Isha' prayer is until midnight. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
the, time of the night prayer (lasts) by midnightوقت العشاء إلى نصف الليل
Sahih Muslim 612b
So it is not permissible for a woman to delay it until midnight. The night varies, becoming longer and shorter. If the night is nine hours, the midpoint is at four thirty by the sunset time. If the night is twelve hours by the sunset time, the midpoint is at six o'clock. If it reaches six o'clock, that is the midpoint. It is not permissible for a sick person or a woman to delay it until midnight. As for a healthy man, he prays with the people in the mosques; it is obligatory for him to pray with the people in the mosques. But if he prays at home due to his illness, and likewise for a woman, then they must pray the Isha' prayer before the midpoint. Yes.
