The amount of dhikr obligatory in ruku' and sujud

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
He has another question in which he asks: What are the amounts of the obligatory and recommended words and actions in the prayer?

Answer:
The obligatory in sujud is to say "Subhan Rabbi al-A'la" (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High) once, and in ruku' to say "Subhan Rabbi al-Azim" (Glory be to my Lord, the Magnificent) once. Anything beyond that is recommended. One repeats it and says: "Subhanaka Allahumma Rabbana wa bihamdika, Allahumma ighfir li" (Glory be to You, O our Lord, and praise be to You. O Allah, forgive me). This is recommended.
Likewise, saying "Subhan Quddus Rabb al-Mala'ikah wa al-Ruh" (Glory be to the Pure, the Holy, Lord of the angels and the Spirit) in ruku' and sujud is recommended. Similarly, supplication in sujud is recommended. And likewise, between the two prostrations, one says "Rabbighfir li" (My Lord, forgive me); the obligatory is to say it once, and if one repeats it, that is better. If one adds: "Allahumma ighfir li wa rhamni wa hadini wa jibbini wa rizqni wa 'afini" (O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, heal me, provide for me, and keep me safe), that is better, provided there is tranquility in all of it and no haste. And likewise, when one rises from ruku', if he is an imam or praying alone, he says: "Sami' Allahu li man hamidah, Rabbana wa laka al-hamd" (Allah hears the one who praises Him. Our Lord, to You belongs all praise), or "Allahumma Rabbana wa laka al-hamd" (O Allah, our Lord, to You belongs all praise), or "Rabbana laka al-hamd" (Our Lord, to You belongs all praise). All of these have come down. This is the obligatory.
And if he is a ma'mum (one praying behind the imam), when he rises he says: "Rabbana wa laka al-hamd" (Our Lord, to You belongs all praise), or "Rabbana laka al-hamd" (Our Lord, to You belongs all praise), or "Allahumma Rabbana laka al-hamd" (O Allah, our Lord, to You belongs all praise), or "Allahumma Rabbana wa laka al-hamd" (O Allah, our Lord, to You belongs all praise). All of these are correct. This is the obligatory, and anything beyond that is recommended. (Much praise... ) and so on is recommended, and it is best to complete it. Yes.

The presenter : May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
