The non-establishment of dhikr before the takbir of ihram in prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
We move on to a message sent by the questioner, Salih Ahmad from Yemen. He says: “Your Eminence! We ask about those people when they turn toward the prayer. When they turn, they wait for about five minutes until they say the takbir of ihram. Is this correct? When they turn, should they say the takbir of ihram immediately, or should they begin by reciting the adhkar of turning, then say the takbir of ihram? We ask you for guidance?”

Answer:
What is prescribed is that the imam straightens the rows, orders them to look to his right and left, and tells them: “Straighten up, align yourselves, and straighten the rows” until they are even. Once they are even and straight, he says the takbir. This is the Sunnah. There is no prescribed dhikr before the takbir after the iqamah. However, he should observe the worshippers, order them to straighten up, align the rows, and prevent some from advancing ahead of others, completing the first row, then the next, and then he says the takbir, just as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do.
