Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
At the beginning of this episode, we return to a message sent to the program from the Sultanate of Oman, sent by one of the sisters from there, (A. A. J). We presented part of our sister's questions in a previous episode, and in this episode, she has another set of questions remaining. In one of the remaining questions, she says: Is the word (Allo) permissible on the telephone? They say that this word is not for Muslims, but rather for the Christians. Please guide us and the listeners. May Allah reward you with good?
Answer:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Praise be to Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon the Messenger of Allah, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon whoever follows his guidance. As for what follows:
I do not know of any harm in the word (Allo); because people have become accustomed to it and have come to know it, and there is no harm in that. Many foreign words have become known to people and circulated among them; so that does not cause harm. And if one says (Yes) instead of (Allo), that is all fine.
The point is that there is no harm in (Allo), and Allah knows best.
The presenter : May Allah reward you with good.
