Ruling on trimming the beard for the purpose of adornment

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This questioner asks: Is it permissible to trim some of the parts of the beard? Especially if the intention is to beautify the beard?

Answer:
It is not permissible to trim it, nor to pluck from it, absolutely, due to his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
Trim the mustaches and let the beards grow; be unlike the polytheists.قصوا الشوارب، وأعفوا اللحى؛ خالفوا المشركين
The other wording:
Trim the mustaches and let the beards grow; differ from the polytheistsقصوا الشوارب، ووفروا اللحى؛ خالفوا المشركين
The third wording:
Trim closely the moustache, and grow beard, and thus act against the fire-worshippers.جزوا الشوارب، وأرخوا اللحى؛ خالفوا المجوس
Sahih Muslim 260
.
So all the authentic hadiths indicate the obligation of letting it grow, providing for it, and being cautious about shaving it or cutting it, even if one claims that he is making it even. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
