Expiation for one who swears multiple oaths regarding a single matter

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The questioner says: If a person swears multiple oaths regarding a single matter and does not break them, does he have to pay an expiation for each oath afterwards? Or is one expiation sufficient? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
If it is regarding a single matter, one expiation is sufficient for him. So if he says, “By Allah, I will not speak to so-and-so,” “By Allah, I will not speak to him,” “By Allah, I will not speak to him,” and he says this many times, and then he speaks to him, it is one expiation; because it is a single action. Or if he says, “By Allah, I will not visit so-and-so,” “By Allah, I will not visit so-and-so,” “By Allah, I will not visit so-and-so,” and then he visits him; it is one expiation.
As for if it is regarding two actions, and he says, “By Allah, I will not visit so-and-so,” “By Allah, I will not speak to so-and-so,” and then he speaks to this one and visits that one; it is two expiations; because each one is an independent oath regarding an independent action. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
