Expiation for Multiple Oaths

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
From the questions of the questioner Umm Muhammad from the city of al-Zulfi, she says: O His Eminence the Shaykh! I swore three oaths regarding my children, and they broke them. How do I expiate for those oaths, knowing that there was a period between each oath? Please clarify this for me, O His Eminence the Shaykh?

Answer:
If the oaths were regarding different actions, each oath has its own expiation. But if they were regarding a single action, one expiation is sufficient. So if you swore at them three times: "By Allah, you will not do such and such," "By Allah, you will not do such and such," "By Allah, you will not do such and such"; it is one action, even if it was on different days, or at different times; its expiation is one.
But if it was: "I will not do it," "By Allah, you will not do such and such," "By Allah, you will not visit so-and-so," "By Allah, you will not buy this thing"; the actions are different. Each thing has an expiation, and each oath has an expiation.
