The Ruling on Dealing with One Who Abandons Prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
In the second question from this questioner from Dammam, he says: What is the ruling on dealing with a person who abandons prayer and is negligent in performing acts of worship? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
It is disliked to deal with this person, and with the other disbelievers; because there is danger in it, it may drag you to the falsehood he is upon. So it is not permissible to cooperate with him, rather he should be boycotted; until he repents to Allah. And if he is an original disbeliever; he should be kept away from, and not kept as a companion; so that he does not drag you to falsehood. And if he is a Muslim, then apostatized, he is more ugly and more ugly. One must be cautious of him, but with calling him to Allah and advising him; perhaps he will return, perhaps he will repent to Allah, perhaps he will return to Islam. And if he is an original disbeliever; perhaps he will repent, perhaps he will accept the truth. So if you advise him for the sake of Allah, and he returns; then praise be to Allah. Otherwise, leave him, and seek the good among the Muslims. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
