Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
From Syria, this is a message sent by a listener from there. He says: Ahmad Muhammad Hubus, of Syrian nationality, asks and says: I left my country, my place of birth, and went to another country twenty kilometers from my place of birth. There, my mother refused to come with me, and she is angry and will not be pleased unless I return, meaning: I go back to my country. And I see that my residence in the current country is beneficial for my offspring, and I am afraid of the anger of the noble mother. I ask for guidance. May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
If your residence in the last country is better for your religion and better for your offspring, then stick to it, and there is no blame on you. If your residence in your mother's country harms you or harms your offspring because of the much corruption and great evil in it, then you are rewarded and you are upon good. Stick to the place where there is good and righteousness, and her anger at you does not harm you. And you must exert the means in seeking her pleasure, explaining your situation to her, and clarifying the reasons with gentleness, good words, and pleasant phrases, so that she may be pleased with you, if Allah wills. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever seeks the pleasure of Allah through the anger of the people, Allah will be pleased with him and will make the people pleased with him.من التمس رضا الله بسخط الناس رضي الله عنه وأرضى عنه الناس
, and in the other wording:
Whoever seeks Allah's pleasure by the people's wrath, Allah will suffice him from the peopleمن التمس رضا الله بسخط الناس كفاه الله مئونة الناس
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2414Hasan (Darussalam)
.
So, my brother, seek the pleasure of Allah, be upright, and be patient. You must use good words with the mother, do good to her, and seek her pleasure with a good manner, explaining the circumstances that necessitated this move for you. She will, if Allah wills, be pleased with you. And Allah (Exalted and Majestic is He) is the One who grants success and guidance . Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
