Is the sitting for rest a recommended practice?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is the sitting for rest, O Shaykh, when rising from the final prostration to the second unit, permissible or not permissible?

Answer:
It is recommended, according to the correct view, that one sits briefly after the first unit in the two-unit, four-unit, and three-unit prayers, and after the first and third units in the four-unit prayers of Dhuhr, Asr, and Isha. It should be a light sitting, like the sitting in the first tashahhud. This is the best. If one does not sit, there is no blame on him. If one omits it at times, there is no blame on him. It is a light sitting after the first and after the third, before standing up after the second prostration in the third unit and in the first unit. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you.
