The sitting of rest in prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 18615 )
Q 3: In all our mosques, the worshippers do not sit for the
sitting of rest, and neither do the imams, but a very small number of people perform this sitting. The question is: Is it permissible to leave this sitting in order to follow the imam and the congregation?

A 3 : The sitting of rest in prayer is a recommended practice (sunnah) according to some scholars. So, if one leaves it, he is not to be criticized, whether he is an imam, praying alone, or a follower. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
