The ruling on fasting on Saturday if it coincides with the sixth of Shawwal

Question:
Among the questions from this questioner from Jordan, he says: O His Eminence the Shaykh: If we want to fast six days of Shawwal consecutively, and one of the days happens to be Saturday, do we fast that day, or do we break the fast?
Answer:
As mentioned earlier, it is better to fast them consecutively, and there is nothing wrong with fasting on Saturday, even if it is a single day; because the hadith prohibiting fasting on Saturday except for what is obligatory upon us is a weak hadith—as mentioned earlier—it is not authentic from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
