The etiquettes to be observed by one who sees a disturbing dream

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A listener (Z. A. Z.) from Dammam asks and says: I saw in a dream that I was throwing dirt and stones at the face of a relative of mine, and this dream has disturbed me. Does it have an interpretation? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
If you see such a dream, know that it is from Shaytan. Do not be sad. Spit on your left side three times with your saliva, spitting to the left, and say: “I seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan and from the evil of what I saw,” three times. Then turn over to your other side, for it will not harm you. Do not tell anyone about it, and it will not harm you.
This is what the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded when he was asked. He said—(peace and blessings be upon him):
A good vision is from Allah, and a dream is from Shaytan. So if one of you sees something he dislikes, let him spit on his left side three times, let him seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan and from the evil of what he saw three times, and let him turn over to his other side; for it will not harm him, and he should not tell anyone about it.
This is the prescribed practice, my brother. This is the procedure for every disliked dream. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
