Question:
My mother saw in a dream that she and the entire family were in a house, and her deceased father—may Allah have mercy on him—came to them. She said: I was happy to see him, and I said to him: Do not leave us. In her mind, he was living in another place. She said that she touched him, and he said to her: Do not touch me, for I am impure?
Answer:
This dream, and those similar to it, are from the devils. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever sees that he is being killed, or that he is impure, or that urine has been poured on him, or that someone is threatening him with death, or beating him, or that his private parts are exposed, or anything similar to that, all of this is from the devils. So when he wakes up, let him spit to his left three times, and let him say: I seek refuge in Allah from the devil and from the evil of what I saw, three times. Then let him turn over to his other side, and let him not tell anyone about it, and it will not harm him, if Allah wills.
Question: What does one say: Allah is the Greatest, the Great, and praise is to Allah, much, and Glory be to Allah, and by His praise, morning and evening??
Answer: We have not heard this. What the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said was: And if he wishes to glorify Allah after that, there is good in it.
The Sunnah when one wakes up is to say: There is no god but Allah alone, He has no partner, His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is over all things competent. Glory be to Allah, and praise is to Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest, and there is no power and no strength except by Allah. Praise is to Allah who gave me life after He caused me to die, and to Him is the resurrection. It is recommended to say this upon waking from sleep, absolutely, whether at the end of the night or in the middle of the night, even if he did not see a dream. If he wakes up from sleep, he says this; it is recommended for him to say this.

A good dream is from Allah, and a bad dream is from the devil.
