Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Abu Abd al-Karim says in this question: If a person in the state of ihram drinks something of saffron before his release from ihram, is there any sin in that?
Answer:
If he was forgetful, or ignorant, he owes nothing. As for doing it deliberately, it is not permissible; because saffron is a perfume, so one should not do it deliberately. But if he was ignorant, or forgetful, he owes nothing [al-Baqarah:286]. Yes.
