Is it better to pray the tarawih prayer in congregation? And the ruling on reciting aloud

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A listener named Ahmad Awad Zaid from the Arab Republic of Egypt sent a message containing two questions. In his first question, he says: I ask your Eminence to guide me regarding the tarawih prayer. Is it better for a person to pray it alone, or is it necessary to pray it in congregation? And is it necessary for the recitation to be loud? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer:
Congregation is better. It is better to pray the tarawih prayer in congregation in Ramadan, praying it in congregation as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the Companions did. It is better for the recitation to be loud, and if one lowers his voice, there is no blame on him, but loud recitation is the recommended practice (sunnah). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited aloud, and the Companions recited aloud. All night prayers are recited aloud, and all day prayers are recited quietly, except for the Fajr prayer, which is recited aloud, and the Jumu'ah prayer, which is recited aloud, and the 'Id prayer, which is recited aloud, and the eclipse prayer, which is recited aloud, and the prayer for rain, which is recited aloud, even if it is during the day. But the Zuhr and 'Asr prayers are recited quietly.
So the point is: the recommended practice (sunnah) in tarawih is to pray with the congregation in the mosques; this is the best, following the example of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them). And the recommended practice (sunnah) for the imam is to recite aloud. If you pray in your house, there is nothing wrong with it, and the recommended practice (sunnah) is to recite aloud. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
