What is the ruling on performing wudu' when there is oil on the hands?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Does a layer of fat, specifically Vaseline, prevent water from reaching the skin, and what is required of me? He says: If I have already performed wudu' and prayed several prayers while it was still on my hands, without knowing that the oil prevents water from reaching the skin, how do I get rid of this? May you be rewarded.

Answer:
Ointments that have no substance do not prevent water, whether it is oil, grease, or any other type of ointment that has no substance; they do not prevent it. However, if there is something that has substance, meaning it has an effect that prevents water, you must remove it before this, whether it is on your hand, your face, or your foot. As for grease, if you have rubbed your hand, face, or foot with something that has no substance and does not leave a substance behind, but only leaves a trace from the touch or something similar, this does not prevent water, and there is no blame in that. What prevents water is what has substance that stands between the water and the skin. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you and reward you with good.
