How to Begin and Conclude Supplication

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Among the questions from this questioner from Kuwait, he says: O Shaykh, may Allah preserve you: How does a Muslim begin his supplication to Allah ? And how does he conclude it? And what is the Greatest Name of Allah?

Answer:
He begins his supplication by praising Allah and sending blessings upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then he supplicates, whether it is at the end of the prayer before the taslim, or in prostration, or at other times. He begins by praising his Lord and extolling Him, then he sends blessings upon the Prophet, then he supplicates for whatever good he desires in this world and the Hereafter, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught his ummah.

The presenter: May Allah preserve you.
