What is the method of treatment for sorcery?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
How can one be treated for sorcery?

Answer:
Treatment for sorcery is through ruqyah (healing by Qur'anic recitation) from the words of Allah, and through good supplications. The patient is treated with verses: Ayat al-Kursi, Surat al-Fatihah, and
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
[Al-Ikhlas 112:1]
, and the two Mu'awwidhat (chapters of seeking refuge), and other verses. If he recites into water and drinks from it and sprinkles it on himself, that is also part of the treatment. It is also beneficial for a man being kept away from his wife or his woman. He should blow with Surat al-Fatihah, Ayat al-Kursi, and
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
[Al-Ikhlas 112:1]
, and the two Mu'awwidhat, or someone else should blow on him, or he should recite that into water and then drink from it and pour it over his body. All of this is part of the treatment.
And if he places seven leaves of the sidr tree in the house: he grinds them and puts them in water, this is also beneficial for a man being kept away from his wife, and it is beneficial for sorcery.
It is not permissible to go to sorcerers, or to fortune-tellers, no. But he should treat himself with the verses of Allah, either by reciting on himself, reciting into his hands, and wiping with them over his head, face, and chest, and so on when sleeping. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to do this. When he was afflicted, he would recite into his hands:
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
[Al-Ikhlas 112:1]
and the two Mu'awwidhat, when sleeping, and wipe with them over the front of his body: his head, face, and chest, three times, (peace and blessings be upon him). All of this is among the causes of healing.
And
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreakقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ
[Al-Falaq 113:1]
and
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ
[An-Nas 114:1]
are two great surahs, a cure for every ailment, for every disease,
no one can use anything to compare with them for the purposeما تعوَّذ مُتعوِّذٌ بمثلهما
Sunan Abi Dawud 1463Sahih (Al-Albani)
as it came in the hadith. So if he recites on himself:
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ...
[Al-Ikhlas 112:1]
and
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreakقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ...
[Al-Falaq 113:1]
and
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ...
[An-Nas 114:1]
and repeats that, or recites into water and drinks it and sprinkles it on himself, or someone else from his brothers recites for him, or he does that when sleeping and wipes over the front of his body: his head, chest, and face, all of this is part of the treatment.
And the treatment is done by the person himself, or by someone else from the students of knowledge... one of the students of knowledge recites for him, or his brother, or his father, or he does it for his wife, or his wife does it for him if she is skilled at it. The matter is broad, praise be to Allah. You recite by yourself, you blow by yourself, your brother blows on you, your brothers known for good, or your brother blows on you, or your father, or your wife, or your sister, or your mother. You recite Surat al-Fatihah, Ayat al-Kursi, and whatever is easy from the Qur'an, and
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ
[Al-Ikhlas 112:1]
and the two Mu'awwidhat. All of this is treatment for sorcery and for other diseases, and for a man being kept away from his wife.
