The Ruling on Resorting to Man-Made Laws in the Presence of the Noble Qur'an

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: What is your opinion regarding Muslims who resort to man-made laws, while the Noble Qur'an and the pure Sunnah are among them?

A: My opinion regarding this type of people who call themselves Muslims, while they resort to judgment by other than what Allah has revealed, and they consider the Shari'ah of Allah insufficient and not suitable for judgment in this age, is what Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, said concerning them, where He, Glorified and Exalted is He, says:
But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission.
[Al-Nisa: 65] And He, Glorified and Exalted is He, says:
And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the disbelievers.
[Al-Ma'idah: 44]
And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the disbelievers.
[Al-Ma'idah: 45]
And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the disbelievers.
[Al-Ma'idah: 47]
Therefore, those who resort to a law other than the law of Allah, and they consider that permissible for them, or that it is preferable to resorting to the law of Allah, undoubtedly exit the circle of Islam by doing so, and they become disbelievers, wrongdoers, and open sinners, as stated in the previous verses and others, and His saying, Mighty and Majestic:
Then is it the judgement of [the time of] ignorance they desire? But who is better than Allah in judgement for a people who are certain [in faith].
[Al-Ma'idah: 50], and success is from Allah.
