Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: His saying, Exalted is He:
To Him belongs the highest attribute in the heavens and earthوَلَهُ الْمَثَلُ الْأَعْلَى فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ
[Surah al-Rum: 27]. Does "al-Mithal" mean a likeness?

Answer:
That is, the like: the description from every angle. He, Glorified and Exalted is He, is described with absolute perfection from every angle, as He, the Exalted, said: :
There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing.لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ
[Ash-Shuraa 42:11]
And He, Glorified and Exalted is He, said:
Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ۝
[Al-Ikhlas 112:1]
, and success is from Allah.
