The Ruling on Visiting Imams and the Righteous

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
A final question at the end of the episode: Is it permissible to visit imams and the righteous? And what are the words that are said when visiting them? Please inform us. May Allah reward you with good.
Answer: Visiting one another for the sake of Allah is a recommended practice and a means of drawing near to Him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Allah the Exalted says:يقول الله 
: My love is obligatory for those who visit one another for the sake of Allah, and those who love one another for the sake of Allah, and those who sit together for the sake of Allah, and those who exchange gifts for the sake of Allah.
So, visiting one another for the sake of Allah contains much good and many benefits. He visits him, greets him, shakes his hand, and prays for him. Each one prays for the other. If he finds him in a good state and he is pleased with him through pleasant conversation and discussing what benefits them all in their religion and worldly affairs, this is the completion of the visit. And if he helps him with something he needs in matters of his religion or his worldly affairs... love... visiting. And I do not know of anything specific that the visitor does other than the greeting... and praying for him with success, righteousness, guidance, and steadfastness.
The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
