The ruling on writing the Verse of the Throne on a grave

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
This questioner, who used the initials (M.M.S) as a code for his name, from Yemen, says in his first question: A man asked me to write on the surface of his wife's grave, which is built up, he says: He asked me to write the Verse of the Throne with paint, and I wrote the verse on the surface of the grave, so is there a sin on me for that?

Answer:
First: It is not permissible to build on a grave. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)
He forbade building on a grave, plastering it, and sitting on itنهى أن يبنى على القبر، وأن يجصص، وأن يقعد عليه
Muslim narrated it in the Sahih, so it is not permissible to build on graves; because building on it, such as a dome or anything else, may lead to exaggeration regarding it. So it is obligatory that the deceased be buried and the earth be raised from the ground by the width of a hand as a sign that it is a grave, and nothing should be built on it, no dome, no room, or anything else. And it is not permissible to write on it; because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him):
He forbade writing on a grave, building on it, and sitting on it, and it should not be plasteredنهى أن يكتب على القبر، وأن يبنى عليه، وأن يقعد عليه، ولا يجصص
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade all of these, and writing on it may lead to evil. It may be written on it that it is such and such, and that it is such and such, and that it is such and such, and people may be led astray by it. So writing on it is not permissible, whether a little or a lot. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you.
