The Ruling on Greeting Those Who Do Not Pray

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I live in the village, and when I go to the mosque to pray, I see some young men on the way who do not pray. I greet them. Is there any sin on me for this action?

Answer:
There is no sin on you. It is prescribed for you to greet them, enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong. You say to them: “O servants of Allah! Prayer... prayer... rely on Allah... catch up with the prayer... the mu'adhdhin has called. Advise them, enjoin what is right, and greet them. Start with the greeting, then enjoin what is right and advise them, saying: “Seek help from Allah... head to the mosque... may Allah bless you... may Allah guide you... may Allah make you righteous,” and similar good words.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
