Where does a woman place her hands while standing in prayer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A message was received by the program from one of the female listeners. She says: Your sister in Allah, Maha Abdul Aziz. Our sister asks in her question where a woman places her hands during prayer?

Answer:
Like a man, it is the recommended practice (sunnah) for her to place them on her chest, as stated in the Sunnah. This is because the original ruling is that men and women are equal in prayer, except where evidence specifies otherwise. Therefore, she performs what the man performs in his prayer: she says the takbir, recites the opening supplication, recites Surat al-Fatihah and whatever she can manage, bows and settles, raises her head and straightens up and settles, and places her hands on her chest while standing, before bowing and after it, exactly like a man. Yes.
Because the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
offer your prayers in the way you saw me offering my prayersصلوا كما رأيتموني أصلي
Sahih al-Bukhari 6008
And this includes both men and women, yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
