The questioner : The third issue regarding military service in Syria is the prohibition involved in it.

The Shaykh : The solution is to pay the substitute fee.

The questioner : He pays the military substitute fee.

The Shaykh : Yes, and it is not permissible to obey the parents in military service that forces the Muslim to commit violations of the Shari'ah, based on his saying (peace be upon him):
A creature is not to be obeyed when it involves disobedience to the "Creator.” لا طاعةَ لمخلوقٍ في معصية الخالق

.

The questioner : Now there is a new point for us: if he is able to pay the substitute fee, it is forbidden for him to go down and serve in the military; it is forbidden for him to share the clinic with his friend in this manner. There is a solution for him, and he should rely on Allah and our Lord.
