What is the ruling on Islamic nasheeds?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Do Islamic anthems fall under the category of singing, or not?

Answer:
If they are sound and contain nothing of the nature of poetry, then their good is good and their bad is bad. Islamic anthems recited with Arab voices, not with women’s voices, and not with voices that incite evil, but with Arab Islamic voices, and containing no prohibited element of the kind found in other poetry:
In some poetry there is wisdom.إنَّ من الشعر لحكمة
Sunan Ibn Majah 3755Sahih (Darussalam)
, then sound poetry praising noble morals and fine deeds is permissible. Hassan ibn Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) recited his satire against the polytheists in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) approved it and ordered him to satirize them, saying:
Indeed, the Spirit of Holiness is with youإنَّ روح القدس معك
Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 18:716
, and saying:
his words are harder for them than being shot with arrowsإنه لأشد عليهم من وقع النَّبْل
Sunan an-Nasa'i 2893Hasan (Darussalam)
. Likewise, he heard the poetry of Ka'b ibn Malik and the poetry of Abdullah ibn Rawahah.
