Ruling on Reciting Anthems in the Mosque

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
We have a religious group, whose name need not be mentioned, that permits religious anthems in the mosque at a loud volume. What is your guidance?

Answer:
Arabic poetry and Islamic Arabic anthems that contain benefit in the context of knowledge and education are permissible if there is a circle of knowledge in the mosque, or a preacher who preaches to the people, reminds them, and reads to them some beneficial poetry and good, beneficial, lawful anthems. There is no harm in that. Hassan (may Allah be pleased with him) used to recite poetry in the mosque of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and satirize the disbelievers in his mosque (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him:
Satirize them, and by Him in whose hand is my soul, it is more severe for them than the impact of arrows.اهجهم، والذي نفسي بيده إنه لأشد عليهم من وقع النبل
and he said:
O Allah! Support him (i.e. Hassan) with the Holy Spirit?اللهم أيده بروح القدس
Sahih al-Bukhari 3212
Therefore, reciting poetry in mosques—beneficial, useful Islamic poetry and good anthems in circles of knowledge and in sermons—all of this is permissible.
As for forbidden songs, or forbidden poetry, or forbidden anthems, they are not permissible, neither in mosques nor elsewhere.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
