The ruling on hiding some goods and selling them at a later time

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
He asks another question and says: O Shaykh, what is the ruling if I have goods and I hide them? Is that permissible or not?

Answer:
This requires a detailed explanation: If you hide them in order to raise prices against people and hoard them, meaning that hiding and hoarding them harms them, then it is not permissible for you. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
No one hoards but a sinner.لا يحتكر إلا خاطئ
Sunan Ibn Majah 2154Sahih (Darussalam)
meaning: except for a sinner.
As for if hiding them and not selling them does not harm people, then there is nothing wrong with you storing goods with you until a later time so that you sell them at a later time, provided that this does not harm people. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good, and may He do you good.
