The ruling on a woman divorced three times if her husband dies before her waiting period ends

Question:
A letter reached the program from northern Yemen, sent by one of the brothers, identified as (A. A. H). Our brother has two questions:
In his first question, he says: A man divorced his wife, then took her back, then divorced her for the second time, then took her back, then divorced her for the third time. Before she completed her waiting period, this husband passed away. Does she have to observe the waiting period for a widow?
And does she inherit from the wealth of her husband who divorced her for the third time, even though she had not yet completed her waiting period?

Answer:
If the situation is as the questioner stated, she does not have to observe a waiting period for death; rather, she must complete the waiting period for the divorce. She has no right to inheritance, because she was separated from her husband by the final, third divorce.
So if he died after the final divorce, she does not inherit from him, nor does she observe a waiting period for his death. However, she completes the waiting period for the divorce, provided that the divorces mentioned were valid and effective according to the Shari'ah. Yes.
